Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This location can be hit or miss!!! The can be decent one day and barely edible the next time... Sometimes the fries are hot, sometimes lukewarm but I've experienced that at the other burger chains as well, so I won't judge to harshly on that... As for the staff, they could definitely use some customer service training... All in all I would return if I really wanted Wendy's."
"I ordered the Hot Honey meal with a pineapple, mango lemonade drink on 3/26/22 around 11:30/12pm. It was a “ As seen on tv moment” my meal was so neat and hot. Everything was perfect including my drink. Very seldom is fast food very neat, hot, and fresh. Usually it’s a “ I hope my fries are hot” while accepting all other dissatisfactions. I try to do honest reviews for the best and worst experiences. Yesterday’s food was what all customers should experience."
"I had a friend in town visiting from Australia and they were hangry and we stopped in and got a lovely taco salad at Wendy’s. It was very busy afternoon rush and the cashier still had a smile and a friendly greeting which was incredible to witness based on some of the unwarranted attitudes of some of the patrons. Bravo!"
"This is a very good Wendy's to visit because they have a drive-thru and you don't have to go inside to place an order. The cashier was very friendly and the food was good. I usually go there after attending church service at Mount Gilead Baptist Church Northwest Washington DC."
"For the price food is very good.... service could be improved."
"The food was fresh and hot. The fries were super on point. My only two concerns were that the hot honey sauce is not individually packaged, like they are in GA and the sauce I asked for spilled all over the bag. What little I did have left was the perfect addition to the hot fries though. Also I had asked for no cheese and there was cheese on the sandwich when I opened it. I was not able to open it to check before leaving the drive thru, so making sure the order is correct is crucial (on both ends), especially for orders where people can't open up the sandwich to make sure it's correct"
"A nice wait eating setting for a fast food restaurant, looks and smells clean. BURGER is cooked to taste and my bread bun wasn't soggy. I finally found the wendy's of old, when everything matters. So someone tells me that they don't have adequate park let's inform the person to look in the behind and on the side of Wendy's. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK."
"I mean, for what it is, I never had a bad a experience going here. Hopefully it stays that way, mostly the weird interactions I get when I go here are from the people loitering around. The service isn't very speedy, there's only usually one person working the cash register taking orders. At peak times, it gets busy, and orders may take awhile. Which honestly I don't blame them for. It's right by the metro, and near a Safeway. So it's bound to get crowded at times, which overall increases wait times. The staff, they are always cordial when I give my order. I haven't had any rude or unpleasant experiences with them. Sometimes they are dashers who come by to pick up orders, who may get a little aggressive because their order is taking so long, but that's no fault of the people working the cash register. (just be kind to everyone). If you want to get food at this location, better to go there in person, than preordering and picking up, or delivery by doordash. My food usually takes maybe 5-10 minutes to come out. Like at any fast food joint, patience is key. I walk in, so I don't know how speedy the drive through is. As for the food, nothing really to say, it's good, it's Wendys. No bad experiences so far, and hopefully none to write home about. The floors... dear god they're sticky, I don't know why, and it unsettles me every time I go into that Wendys. That floor has seen some stuff I swear."
